So today the weather was in the 50s! The beginning of a new season. I love Fall! We are looking foward to the chilly fall air, the color change in the leaves and smores around a bon fire. It is a time that I look back on our last season, the fun we had in the sun. Here are some of the activities we enjoyed this summer that I hadn't blogged about.
Science Museum
The science museum is a must see in Saint Louis! We really enjoyed the presentation on biofeedback and the lab, were you could solve crimes using forensic technics. 
Cardinal's Game
This game was a special Military Tribute! The whole opening ceremony was dedicated to recognizing our armed forces! It gave me goose bumps and brought me to tears when a wounded warrior threw the opening pitch! The whole stadium was on their feet with a roar of applause that lasted until he wheeled off the field! A reminder that "Freedom is not Free"! Thanks to all of our service members! We love and appreciate you!
Home run! So exiting! The Cardinals won the game! I had fun cheering the local team, but I am still a Yankees fan!Pool Parties
Charlie couldn't handle a summer without a pool, so he bought us a pool for the back yard. We enjoyed hanging out with our neighbors around the pool under the umbrella while the kids swam and the dogs played in the fenced in yard! Summer doesn't get any better than that! I mention the umbrella because we loved it so much we had to jerry-rig it after two wind storms so we could still use it. The third storm did it in! :-(

Whiffle Ball-Pool version! Brings back great childhood memories! 
Charlie with our friends adopted twin boys! I am so bad, I can never tell them apart so their mom recently started dressing them in different colors when she is going to see me so I can remember who is who!
