Mission Accomplished

Before you read click on this link to get the whole story.

So ever since I read mom's post I have been on the look out for a similar stool.  I don't remember ever seeing one like hers, never the less, I was on a mission.  To my surprise I have found several.  My neighbor even found one on her trip to KY.  Some were very antique and stayed true to the "take-your-life-in-your-own-hands-if-you-use-this".
 Others were brand new.

I decided on an antique metal version.  I stripped the chipping paint and repainted it.  I love using it and I smile every time I enter my kitchen.
So mom all you need is one.... or two more!  Hope is accounted for!

Wild Catch

Daddy can I please keep it?
One day while Charlie and Hope were spending time at the golf course.  Charlie told Hope if she could catch one of the baby rabbits on the course she could keep it.  Hope tried and tried to no avail!  Weeks later at our neighbors house their dog was chasing a poor baby rabbit.  Tired and scared Hope was able to save it before the predator caught it.  Animal lover that she is she wanted to keep it, but the deal had expired when they left the golf course.  Thanks to Hope the little rabbit is enjoying living a free life.  The other day, Hope even said she had seen him happily hopping around.

Compassion
An attempted smile, while sad inside

Friends

I am so thankful for all of the friends in Hope's life locally and spread around the world!  We are truly blessed for each of the young people in our lives!  (I am sorry I couldn't find pictures of all of you.  Please know that you are all special and loved dearly!)

Time at the Barn

Hope and her Patches
This is what I call Equine Therapy

Two new colts were born on the farm recently and one of the owners drove us to the pasture to see them  the day after they were born.  I love the buckskin!

Patches had two new friends too keep her company.  The girls names the pony, Pumpkin/Fatty and the paint, Oreo.  Later, we found out the paint is Patches son and his real name is Lucky.
We enjoy seeing a family of donkeys on the road to the barn.  One day we decided to stop and say hi.  We all fell in love with the soft, fluffy colt.
Patches and some pasture buddies keeping the flies off each other.  The flies were unusually bad this year!  Ahhhhh!  I hate flies.  Everyday we left the barn I had at least 5 flies in my van.  They are so stubborn I can't even shoo them out!
Priceless
 She is so beautiful
Hope loves when Patches eats holes in the bail of hay.
Who said the grass isn't greener on the other side of the fence
I love that smile!
